Bible Study

Our Winter Study has just wrapped up and we are looking forward to our Spring Study.

Our next study will be by one Beth Moore’s mentors Kay  Arthur. Lord Teach Me to Pray.

Kay Arthur is an international Bible teacher and four-time Gold Medallion aware-winning author of over 100 books. She founded Precept Ministries International with her husband Jack in 1970 with the vision to establish people in God's Word. Kay has the unique ability to reach people in an exciting, effective way — challenging them to change and equipping them to advance the kingdom of God. Her authority comes from the Word of God, which she continues to study zealously; her compassion stems from a life that has been touched by deep tragedy as well as great triumph; and her practicality springs from an openness of character. This interactive, five-session discipleship study helps women grow in a love for God's Word and in a desire to communicate with Him through prayer.

 

Our study groups will begin  Sunday Evenings 3/16 (6p-8p), Tuesday Mornings 3/18 (9:30a-11:30a), Wednesday  Evenings 3/19 (6:45p-8:45p), or Thursday Evenings 3/20 (6:15p-8:15p).

 

Have you been looking for  way to get involved in the Women’s Ministry here at New Hope? Are you available on Thursday afternoons for Bible Study? There will be an informational meeting held by Myra Wilson ((540) 774-9222) on March 27th at 2:30p in the fellowship hall.

F.O.C.U.S.

Friends Of Christ United as Sisters is a group that is a combination of outreach, prayer, and devotional time. F.O.C.U.S. meets only once a month and is a great opportunity to catch up and share spiritually with women not in your small group Bible Study. Please make an effort to attend-you will be glad you did!

The March F.O.C.U.S. will be held at the home of Joy Freeman on Monday March 3rd at 6:30pm. Please bring your favorite coffee/tea mug for an evening of fun & inspiration.

*We still have tickets left to purchase, buy now or they will be sold back!! Our next Beth Moore Conference will be in August 2008 in Kentucky. Your deposit of $25 was due August 5th. Please get that in to Suzy Ashwell ASAP.

The Women’s Ministry Team is always looking for ways to serve the ladies at New Hope. We welcome any ideas & suggestions that would enhance our ministry.
