Our Sunday morning services at New Hope Christian Church are designed for believer’s to come together in corporate worship of our Lord and Savior. Believing and knowing that God is blessed by every act of worship, we plan an array of offerings including art, music and poetry.    Acts 2:42   Romans 12:1-2

 

Our music style is blended.  We believe God is blessed by both the new and the older styles of music. Lyric content of the music is carefully reviewed by our music director to ensure God and only God is glorified through these offerings.    Psalm 150:1-6

 

A typical Sunday morning worship service consists of worship through song, led by a worship team. Words to the music can be found on the screen located above the stage.  Colossians 3:16

 

As modeled in scripture, a time of communion is observed on the first day of every week (Sunday). A small wafer and cup of grape juice is provided as a symbolic representation of Jesus’ body and blood. The minister leads us as we commune together. Acts 20:7

 

A time of money offering is observed as offering plates are passed through the congregation. There is no fee for attending church therefore, no one should feel they have to give unless they feel spiritually led to do so.   2 Corinthians 8:2-5

 

A sermon is presented by the minister followed by a song of decision. If you feel led to make a decision to follow Christ this is a time to come forward and publicly make your intentions known. This can also be a time to request prayer or share a brief testimony. Any time is a good time to make a decision to follow Christ. Nursery and children’s classes are provided during our services for children under the age of twelve. Please see a Greeter or an Usher to assist you.
