Pete Isenberg, Minister to Adults
Pete began his service with New Hope Christian
Church in January, 1994 as minister to youth. After 10 years of successful
ministry in this capacity, he became Minister of Adults in December, 2003.
Through his preaching ministry he strives to lead each listener on a journey
where "God will meet you where you are." (His wife, Ann, is a diligent worker
at New Hope and his prime encourager and supporter. They are the proud parents
of three lovely children.)

Mickey Derrow,
Retired Minister to
Seniors
Mickey Derrow has faithfully served at New Hope Christian
Church as Minister to Adults since 1978. In 2003 he accepted the position of
Minister to Seniors where he leads and directs our senior members in a more active
participation in the ministries at New Hope. Mickey's heart's desire for those he
ministers to is "to see God work through all of us to bring a great harvest of souls
into the Kingdom of God and that we pray constantly to bring glory and honor to our Lord
and Master." Mickey retired in 2006, but still continues to serve the
seniors and others in the New Hope community. (He and his late wife, Mary, raised
two Christian daughters who serve in the Lord's work.)

Ryan VandeLinde, Minister to
Youth
Ryan is a 2004 graduate of Johnson Bible College with a B.A. in Bible and a minor in
missions. Because of his passion to help the youth of today deepen their walk with Christ
and guide them to reach out to non-Christians. He accepted the position of Minister
to Youth upon graduation. Ryan's strengths in missions and evangelism offer an
incredible asset to the youth program at New Hope as he broadens their knowledge of
missions at home and abroad. (In 2003, Ryan married Erin Lockhart who shares his
passion for youth ministry and evangelism and they were blessed by their son in
2006.)

Rochelle Gerdts, Minister to Children
Rochelle joined New Hope Christian Church in
June 2007. She is a 2003 graduate of Johnson Bible College in Knoxville,
TN and did her graduate study at Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, IL. She
has worked in Children’s Ministry, as a Case Manager, and as a Counselor with
Children. Her greatest passion is to be able to devote her time and energy into
making Jesus’s love real in kids’ lives. (Her husband Eric, served as preacher at
Blandinsville Christian Church before they moved and desires to continue his
education so that he may realize his goal of teaching theology at the college
level.)
