Meet our Deacons

Since 1986, Brad has been a faithful servant at New Hope Christian Church working with the Buildings and Grounds and Communion Preparation ministries. (Brad is married to Stacy Boris and they are raising two lovely daughters.)

Cliff has faithfully served the body at New Hope since 1972 in many needed areas, such as, serving communion, helping the elderly, working in the Nursery, driving the church bus, the Meet and Greet Ministry as well as the Buildings and Grounds Ministry.  (Cliff is married to Jennifer Chumley and they have raised a lovely daughter.)

Jack began serving New Hope in May 2002.   He leads Children and Wee Worship classes.  (Jack is married to Gabriele and they have one daughter.)

 

  Jason Lucas

Having grown up at New Hope Christian Church, Jason has had the privilege to serve in several areas of ministry, such as, the children's ministry, the sports ministry and the Building and Grounds ministry, as well as, serving communion. (Jason is married to Amanda Lucas and they have a one son.)

Serving New Hope since 2000, Chad with communion preparation and ocassionally serves as a greeter.  (Chad is married to Valerie and they have two lovely daughters.)

Tim O.jpg (37699 bytes)  Tim O’Leary

For 17 years, Tim has offer his gifts to the New Hope body by serving as Sunday School Superintendant, sound room assistant, nursery aide and with the Buildings and Grounds Ministry.   Tim is also gifted in sign language and works with our Signing Ministry.  (Tim is married to Paige O'Leary and they have three children.)

Ken has had the privilege of serving New Hope since 2001. His area of service includes the sports ministry, and serving communion.  He also occasionally participates with the drama team in plays and skits.  He is married to Terrie and has a step son Travis.

A life long member of New Hope, Larry serves by administering communion and collecting the offering.  (Larry and his late wife, Sallie, have raised four children and Larry is currently enjoying seven grandchildren.)

Tim's lifelong membership at New Hope and tremendous passion to serve have afforded him numerous opportunities of services.  He currently sings in the Worship Choir, leads a Prayer Group and is actively involved with the Praise Teams.  Tim's craftsmanship and artistic abilities are used as a coordinator of our props and staging ministry.  A graduate of Johnson Bible College with a degree in missions is evident in Tim's compassionate heart for service.  (He and his lovely wife, Tara, are raising a son and daughter.) 

  Wayne Sowder

Having served at New Hope since 2000, Wayne Chairs the Buildings and Grounds Ministry and sings with the Worship Choir and sings Praise Teams.  (He and his wife, Sandy, have raised three children and are enjoying their first grandchild.)

Ronnie has faithfully served at New Hope Christian Church since 1990, primarily in the Sound Room and with the Tape and CD Ministry.  He is also and imprtant part of the Buildings and Grounds Ministry lending his help and talents when needed.  (Ronnie is married to Theresa Wickham and and they have two lovely daughters.)

Eric has been with New Hope Christian Church since 2000 and is a 2004 graduate of Johnson Bible College.  He works with New Hope's youth and with sound technology.  His calling is to work toward medical missions.
